A little perspective please. On June 26th, a British network actually interrupted their broadcast to go to a live feed of Paris Hilton’s release from celebrity prison.
While Paris’ release made front page and network news, a heat wave in south-eastern Europe left 38 people dead; the fire raging at Lake Tahoe left 200 families homeless, there was yet another drive-by murder in Toronto and the families of our beloved soldiers were preparing to bury their loved ones.
Sad but true.
